Songbirds
Boston University is now performing some important research on the effects of global warming on the arrival time of song birds to the Concord, MA area.
For years they have used the journals of Henry David Thoreau & ornithologist Brewster and Griscom.
Now they need the arrival times for any years since 1960.
If you, or anyone you may know, may have such important records, of the arrival time of song birds, contact via e mail, Libby Bacon:
bacon@bu.edu
The communities they are interested in are: Concord, Acton, Carlisle, Bedford,Lincoln, Wayland, Sudbury and or Maynard. No matter how small the record(s) may be I'm sure, and regardless of condition, I'm sure it will be helpful to them.
Thanks
