Concord, MA. I'm pleased to announce that I'll be holding a Free Seminar open to all Veterans, Active Duty and On Call Military personnel and their significant others, on Thursday evening, February 19th, 2009 beginning at 7PM at Keller Williams Realty 200 Baker Avenue, Suite 205, Concord, MA.
We have all heard lots of negative talk and chatter about the present day real estate and banking condition and the good news is that the US Veterans Administration, home loan guarantee program offers viable and attractive financing to eligible home buyers even in this present day difficult market.
A key participant of the Seminar will be Bill Nickerson, a highly experienced VA home loan specialist.
The VA Home Loan Guarantee program has been actively engaged in assisting veteran home buyers for sixty five years and was originally known as the Service men's Readjustment Act of 1944.
Since then it has guaranteed over 18 million home loans to veterans to construct or purchase homes.
Recently the VA raised the maximum home loan-guarantee, in Middlesex Country of Massachusetts, to $506,250.00. A qualified individual can purchase a home or condo today under the VA program with no money down and no mortgage insurance premiums.
Coupled with the erosion of property prices in the area and the historic low interest rates make this Spring a compelling time to pursue a home or condo for a great many families.
More good news for Veterans; Massachusetts recently expanded Mass General Law 59, Section 22 which increases the real estate tax reduction benefits for Purple Heart recipients from $ 250,00 a year to a minimum of $400. and in some communities up to a maximum of $800.
As a Army veteran I have great empathy for those who have served and are serving and they truly deserve any extra help, assistance and support we can possibly give to them especially in these gloomy economic times.
Bill McInerney
