Where do we go from here?

Got any good ideas?

OK, the overall economy sucks. Unemployment is way up and the once might and pride-of-the-nation auto-makers are going down for the count.

Gee-wiz, we gave away our ideas, and we even gave away our former industrial-maufacturing base so some fat cats on Wall Street could have a nice Quarter. OK, we also ruined most of the residential and commercial real estate markets so that some other Wall Street fat cats could have another good Quarter. Or Quarters.

Now, global leaders cry and demand new financial and banking rules and regulations. All stocks markets everywhere and all banks, and financial institution plus money-lenders would face new tough rules. But worry not!

Our Fourth Branch of Government will prevail. We'll show'em we don't need no foreign stinking new rules,regulations or laws.

And all the while you had some wacko idea that we, The US of A ,had only three branches of government. The legislative, the executive and the judicial. Right? Wrong.

While you were snoozing, and doing epic things like skipping school, smoking pot, growing fat, going bald, buying Hummers, drinking, and buying million dollar second homes (while ignoring elections) money, big and little money, got together and created The Lobbyists. Right under your nose.

And nothing, in my humble opinion will ever get fixed until we, as individuals and as a nation, fix the fixers.

They cry and blather that they are protected by the 1st Amendment. I agree. Just make each and every contact and communication to and from'em, with any and every elected, appointed official or government employee, totally open and fully transparent to constant public scrutiny.

In other words lets pick up the rocks holding down justice and let the snakes of this culture and society slither away. Ya, I know. Dream on 'cause money talks and big money really talks big.

PS. Who has lobbyists? Doctors, lawyers, realtors, oil companies, CPA's, media firms, foreign countries. unions, farmers, truckers, teachers, and the list goes on and on. Yes, you and I, in each and every way, each and every day, directly or indirectly, support and feed the snakes.

So just where do we go from here? Go any good ideas?
